Surprise!

Mike and I found out about 3 weeks that we were pregnant! We were both shocked, it happened so fast, but we are SO excited! We are due, July 18!

Here is our little "Sea Monkey"

We had to tell my family first, because I was SOO sick, and knew that my dad would know what to do (He is a nurse). My little brother, Braxton, who is 9, was SO excited to be an "Uncle" he could hardly keep his mouth shut, so of course word got out QUICK!

This year we had Thanksgiving with the Wheelwrights. We had not yet told them our news, so we decided that thanksgiving was the perfect day to tell them. . . So we bought a cake, and a baby toy, put the baby toy on the cake, and showed them the cake. They were all SOO shocked! They of course asked if we were serious. . . As if we aren't serious people. . . But they were all soo excited!

Crazy life for the Wheelies!

Romantic Get-Away
This past weekend, Mike and I had the chance to stay up in Park City for the night. The next day we shopped at the outlets, went to Octoberfest at Snowbird, Gardner Village, and on the way home, we stopped at the Pumpkin Patch! We realized, that this was the first weekend, since the begining of the summer that it was just the two of us! We are usually with people, or our families! It was sooo nice!

QUAD
The quad started the summer right after I graduated, in 2006. Throughout Jr. High and High School, we had all been friends, but were never SUPER close, ALWAYS hanging out together. Somehow after we graduated we all just started hanging out and became close almost instantly. Since then, we have been very good friends! 2 of us are married, one is seriously dating (almost married) and the other is going on a mission! I absolutely LOVE these girls too death! They are so great and are always there!

Double or Nothing!!!
This is by far, my FAVORITE band right now! Watching Mike's brother Matt playing his electric violin is so AMAZING! Its great marrying into a family with such musical ablities! Double or Nothing has been playing together every week since Matt has been home in August! So they are doing great!

Matt (Isn't he handsome? He is single ladies!)

Family Fun with the Allgoods
My family is always doing adventurous things, and will call us seconds before they are doing something, and invite us to go with them. . .

One day, they asked us if we wanted to just go play at the beach at pineview, while my dad fished. . . This is a Tiger Muskie

This would be the Tiger Muskie's mouth. . . Think twice before you decide to go swimming in Pineview!

Another day we hiked to the top of Snow Basin, and over-looked Ogden

And Most Recently. . . We had family fall pictures taken up Farmington Canyon
My family is so great! I love them to death! They have helped Mike and I out so much, and are ALWAYS there to support us!

Labor Day Weekend
We spent the weekend with Mike's brother Spencer, and his wife Cecilia, we decided to go camping down in Zion. We had so much fun!

This is what Emmalee's dad wrote. . .

As a family we have consulted with the medical staff here, weighed our options and prayed that we would do the right thing. We have decided not to intubate nor resuscitate her. We are going to move her from ICU to the the oncology floor and let her pass as peacefully as possible. It was a very difficult decision, but we feel that this is the right path. Her blood pressure will drop and eventually her breathing and heart will stop. We will be here for here the whole way. She may pass in the next 24 hours or so, that is the best guess.

It all happened so fast this morning. They lost her pulse and blood pressure this morning and then pulled it back up with medication.

Emmalee does not want to go. She told us a month ago that she did not want to die because she would miss us, her family, too much.

The Lord is calling her home.

Emmalee March 2000-September 2009

Today has been one of the hardest days. Early this morning I received a devasting phone call from my grandma, saying that my cousin Emmalee, who has had cancer for almost a year now, went into cardiac arrest. After stablizing her, Steve, her dad, my uncle, gave her a blessing of comfort, that turned into a release back into her mothers arms, who died 6 years ago. The terrible news has really hit my family hard, she was doing fairly well, and suddenly took a toll for the worst. Emmalee has been such a blessing to our family, she was always making family dinners histerical. She had a personality that everyone enjoyed. Emmalee, you will be missed so much! We love you and know that you are in a happier place!

Brax (my lil bro) and Em were the best for friends!

Helamen

In Cozumel, we got on a water taxi, went over to Playa Del Carmen, and rode in a van for an hour to visit the city of Tulum. There our tour guide, Helamen, gave us an LDS tour of the ruins, it was amazing to hear the perspective of things! Also, it was family picture day, hint the matching outfits, it was 110 degrees, Reasoning behind the nasty grease faces.

We went to an art auction, and in a raffle drawing, Mike won this piece of art for free

We are sitting in the audience, and the magician threw a rose, he said throw it 3 times, and the woman closest to it would have to come up, luckily for my, the rose landed right in Mikes lap.

Birthday Extravaganzas!

My dad taught us all how to fish with our hands! Everyone was able to catch a fish just by fishing with their bare hands! So much fun watching everyone try and fish like that!

At the falls in the Uintahs

We went backpacking in the Uintahs with the Allgoods and Mike took our sweet inflatable raft up there. Flip Mike upside down and he looks like spongebob

Baylee wanted to go boating for her birthday. She's getting so good! We love boating!!

Mike is getting pretty good at some sweet tricks!

Getting all of the Wheelwright's is tough, but with Matt being home and itching to go we were all able to get out and have some fun!

Boating with the Wheelwright's this year. This was my first time seeing Doug waterski! So funny!

My family's new Saturday tradition- Eating at the Pleasant View Grill and hitting 5 buckets of balls! The boys love it and are getting pretty good!

My aunt and uncle were nice enough to let us go up for a day and let us ride their 4-wheelers in Henefer. Although the weather wasn't so great, we still had fun! Like Always!

We almost ran into a moose on the trail

On top of Timber near Henefer

Mike turned 26 on Wednesday, what a big day! He now feels officially old as he is past the 25 era of his life. He even woke up with kinks in his back and muscle pains... Yeah right! Not my hubby :-) He still acts like he's 18, even though he probably shouldn't. We had a fun day at Park City celebrating and finished the night with a great dinner with his family.
